2012 Brewers Outings

Fridays, June 29 and August 17, 4:00 pm

Here we are...another season for Brewer's bus trips. This year: trips #11 and #12. Our record thus far: 7 wins out of 10 trips made. Get the dates on to your calendars and start making your plans to attend. 

Prices for trip tickets are up this year for three reasons:
A. Per seat prices up for entire stadium, and not the same for every game.
B. Game selection increases prices with higher demand dictating more $ for more popular teams
C. Coach bus transportation costs up slightly due to fuel cost uncertainty.

I hope you will support our choices for 2012 - both games are with pennant contenders from the 2011 season. The dates for 2012 are:

  • Trip #11 - June 29: vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks--cost per person with coach bus ride IS $64.00 per Person. The seats are located in Section 108, Rows 20 - 27 (first level, out past first base looking on to right field--same area as last year for Friday evening games). Order deadline is June 10.
  • Trip #12 - August 17: vs. the Philadelphia Phillies - cost per person with coach bus ride = $62.00 per person. The seats are located in Section 211, Rows 13 - 16 (second level, closer to first base, but still looking over early right field). Order deadline is July 30.

There are some changes in our process for 2012:

  1. There will be ONLY 57 tickets ordered per game. Reserve early to be sure your place is available. A few ADA seats are included in our seating reservation. I need your help to be sure all tickets get sold as we have committed to a firm number of tickets with no refunds from the Brewers. 
  2. Reservations considered in place only if payment received with reservation. If reserving closer to actual game date, call ahead for space availability.
  3. At least 45 of the reservations must use the bus to cover cost of transportation for group. (some tickets only will be available for each game for meeting at the park for $19 less than game and bus prices above)
  4. With the help of Bethany United Methodist Church treasury, we were able to order tickets earlier to secure better seating choices, but that also dictated a commitment to a firm number of tickets.
  5. Once 30 days before actual game date arrives, your checks will be deposited and all people reserving take full responsibility for tickets purchased, should you have to back out for some reason. (I will be happy to assist should this become necessary, by maintaining a waiting list of interested people and notifying people of ticket availability to help in finding a buyer.)
Our Badger Coach bus for each game will leave at 4:00 pm from the church, and stop at Dutch Mill Park & Ride at 4:25 pm for those choosing to depart from there.
