For information regarding any of the following groups, please contact the church office at (608) 238-6381.
Reflections Book Study

This group meets monthly to reflect on a wide variety of books from fiction such as “South of Broad” by Pat Conroy to non-fiction such as “The Devil’s Highway” by Luis Alberto Urrea. A new book is chosen by the group as a whole. The book study meets on the third Monday of each month at 2:30 pm.
Men’s Coffee

If you are a man who enjoys coffee or tea (or both!), delicious baked goods and lively conversation, this group is for you! From sports to politics to what is happening in each other’s lives, conversation flows easily in this group and guests are always warmly included. Join this men’s group on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm.
Bethany Flames Softball Team

The Bethany Flames is a softball team that plays in one of the Madison recreation co-ed softball leagues. Games are played on Friday nights during the spring and summer. Players have to be 16 or older to play but otherwise all are invited regardless of softball skills. Emphasis is always placed on fellowship and fun. Couples and individuals are equally invited to play.
Adult Fellowship

This monthly potluck luncheon meets every fourth Friday at noon at Bethany in room 228. Lunches are followed by a speaker or presentation at about 1:00 pm. You may come for the lunch, program or both.
Gardening Group

If you love plants and flowers, this team is for you. Bethany is blessed to have beautiful grounds and a team of “home-grown” gardeners who share in the joy of maintaining our many beds of plants and flowers. If you love to garden, the team is always looking for another “green thumb.”
Young Families Group

Just as the name says, this is a group for those who have young families. Given the busyness of home and work schedules, the idea behind this group is to find ways to spend time with your own family as well as spending time with other young families. Picnics, sledding, the group is always open to new ideas of fun things to do.
Prime Timers

A social group that meets monthly for potluck dinners and social activities. The activities vary from sing-a-longs to games to guest speakers. Members typically consist of adults whose families are grown, the recently retired and those who are beginning to dream about their retirement.
“I Understand” Luncheon
This group meets monthly for lunch at various restaurants to share fellowship with those who have experienced the death of a loved one. This is an excellent opportunity to share food and fellowship. First-time attendees are always most welcome. Contact the Church Office for more information.
Cub Scouts

The pack meets regularly at 6:30 pm on Mondays at the church and all boys are welcome to take part. Besides the meetings, there is lots of other fun stuff planned!
Boy Scouts
Bethany is proud to sponsor Troop #120 of the Boy Scouts. For further information, please contact the church office.
