Are you interested in joining Bethany? You are invited to attend our New Members Classes, which are held on Sunday mornings at 10 am at least twice a year, each spring and each fall. The next New Members Classes are scheduled for March 18 and March 25, 2012 (plan to attend both).  For more information you are invited to contact the church office.

In each class we talk about the United Methodist denomination and its beliefs. We talk about Bethany and some of the many things we do here, like ways we are in ministry to the world around us, and ways we pay attention to our own spiritual growth and development. You will have a chance to meet others who are seeking membership. And you will meet some of the staff, who will explain their work, like children and youth, music, care and visitation, and much more.

You will also have a chance to tell a bit of your own story, if you wish, about your own journey and how you came to Bethany. You will visit informally with the pastor, who will hope to answer all your questions.  While there is important material to cover in the class, we also try to make it as friendly a setting as possible.
