Bread for the World

Bread for the World (BFW) is a collective Christian voice that urges our nation’s decision makers to end poverty and hunger at home and abroad. Each year our congregation participates in the BFW Offering of Letters to Congress to encourage the enactment of specific legislation important to poor and hungry people.

Soulforce, guided by the spirit of truth and empowered by the principles of nonviolent resistance, works to end the religious and political oppression of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

Reconciling Ministries Network

Reconciling Ministries Network mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.

Bethany Peace Fellowship

Bethany Peace Fellowship had its beginning in 2008 when several Bethany members, troubled by the amount of discord and violence in our world, came together to learn more about peace issues and to find ways to promote peace in our lives, our country, and our world.

The group meets every two months for a one-hour meeting following the 11:00 AM worship service. Rather than being a protest group, the goal is to focus on positive action for the advancement of peace. The group genuinely welcomes others who would like to join the fellowship in exploring issues of peace together.
