Join us each Sunday for worship at Bethany at any of our three services (see schedule below). We invite all to join us in celebrating God’s love for all people and encourage you to journey in faith with the Bethany family.
Regular Worship Schedule

This service is held in the chapel and is traditional but informal. The service is slightly shorter than our other services.

This upbeat service is led by the pastor and members in the sanctuary. Children leave for Sunday School after Children’s Time. Worship includes sermons, prayers, and music from our praise band.
11 am Traditional Worship
Our third service is held in the sanctuary and features liturgy, preaching, and music from our organ and the chancel choir.
This Week’s Message
Series: Offering Healing in a Fractured World
10-15-2017 Living Joyfully, Gratefully in This Very Moment (Keri Olson, UMW Guest Speaker)
Preparing for Worship
“Look at the sparrows; they do not know what they will do in the next moment. Let us literally live from moment to moment.” Mahatma Gandhi
“It is good for us, I think, to keep as much joy in life as we can. We busy ourselves with so many things that are not of the heart and spirit. We worry about money, we agonize over the terrible state of the world, we fret at household duties or business minutiae, we work, we argue, we squander our strength in a million ways. And all the time the wonder of life is around us, the ecstasy of breathing air ravished by apple blossoms, of walking on fern-cool driftways, of listening to young leaves moving in the moonlight, and of seeing the twilight stars in the violet bowl of the sky. There is joy enough in one spring day to furnish forth the world, if we but knew it.” Stillmeadow Seasons by Gladys Taber
Previous week’s sermons can be found here.
Options for Families
In the narthex, just outside the sanctuary is a small “wiggle” area where parents can listen to and see the service with babies and small children, and where “Wiggle Bags” are available for the kids. We also offer nursery care for all services.
At Bethany we normally serve communion on the first Sunday of each month. Our communion is an “open table,” meaning everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member of Bethany to participate in communion. Also, so that all may participate, we serve gluten free bread and grape juice.
Care Bus Ministry
One of Bethany’s primary goals is to provide a Caring Ministry to members of the church family. To help meet this goal, Bethany provides a Sunday morning bus service to persons who otherwise would be unable to attend worship. More information is available from the Church Office.
