Your First Visit

Welcome to Bethany! We are happy to have you here. Whether you are accepting our invitation to be our guest for worship, or joining us for one of the many programs and events we offer, here are some things that might make your visit more enjoyable.

For information about Bethany's sign and some history of the large cross on the front of the church, click on the picture.

The main entrance and parking lot are on the opposite side of the church from Mineral Point Road. The parking lot can be accessed either directly from Mineral Point or from Larkin Street on the east side of the church.

If you are here on a Sunday morning, as you enter, greeters will warmly welcome you and answer any questions you might have.

To the left, just past the greeters, is our Information Center where you will find copies of our newsletter, along with a variety of brochures about our ministries, from mission and music to children and youth.
Don’t hesitate to explore the building. We work hard to make Bethany attractive, accessible and user-friendly.
On Sunday mornings you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack in Adams Fellowship Hall just past the Information Center on your left.
To your right as you enter the church is our sanctuary where ushers will help you to find a seat and will hand you a copy of the morning’s worship bulletin .
If you are joining us for the 8 am service you will find it upstairs in the chapel on the 3^rd floor. The chapel can be reached either by taking the stairs you’ll see to your right or by taking the elevator.
If you have Sunday School or Nursery age children please stop by the Child Check-In station in the Narthex to register your child. Someone will be available to help guide you in using the system.
To find our nursery, take the stairs down a flight and look for the smiling faces of the nursery care attendants, who will help in any way they can with your infant or toddler. Two nurseries are available: one for ages 0-2 years and one for ages 3-6 years.
If you would prefer, children are always welcome in the sanctuary, or you might want to try our “Wiggle Area” right outside the sanctuary with its rocking chairs and wiggle bags for kids.
Our Sunday school is held during the 9 am service with all the kids starting out in the sanctuary and leaving after the Children’s Time. Sunday School meets until 10:15 am (During the summer schedule, this service is at 10 am and Sunday School meets until 11:15 am).
From 10 am to 11am join us for our Adult Enrichment - we usually have a forum and/or class you are more than welcome to participate in. Every Sunday, coffee and refreshments are served in Bob and Jean Adams Fellowship Hall where you have an opportunity to meet members of our Bethany Family.
After the service, take a minute to visit with Pastor Brad. He would love to meet you.
