Our vision :

Why We Are Here, & Where We Are Going

Bethany’s vision is that every person feels, knows, and shares God’s love.

To make that a reality, we strive to be a church where:

  • Hospitality is unmistakable - everyone who enters feels welcomed, safe, and valued.

  • Accessibility is a priority - every person can participate fully in worship, learning, and community life.

  • Our building reflects our spirit - warm, vibrant, and ready for ministry.

  • Stewardship is practiced faithfully - we care for what God has entrusted to us so it can bless others.

This campaign strengthens our ability to live out that vision every day.

  • This reminds us of the faithfulness that has always grounded this congregation. It honors the generations who cared for this congregation long before today’s campaign.

Being rooted reminds us that the work ahead isn’t just about a building—it’s about continuing the story God has been writing at Bethany for decades.

  • Hope is what draws our congregation forward. It’s the confidence that God’s work among us is still unfolding, that the ministries we offer will keep growing, and that the improvements we make now will open new possibilities for hospitality, care, and connection.

Being guided by hope frames our campaign not as a burden but as a forward-leaning act of trust—an investment in the future God is shaping among us.

  • This final statement names the heart of Bethany’s identity. It affirms that every repair, renovation, and upgrade is ultimately about welcome—creating a space where all people can enter, participate, and belong.

“Open to All” speaks to accessibility, hospitality, safety, and a love that reaches out to all.  It signals that this campaign is not inward-focused but outward-facing, preparing the building to serve neighbors, newcomers, and long-time members alike.
