Bethany’s Youth Ministry is a safe, comfortable, LGBTQIA+ friendly place where you can be yourself, hang out with friends, and explore your faith.

Fellowship Events

We enjoy a variety of fun activities together throughout the year:

Confirmation

Confirmation is taught on alternating years for students who are age 7th grade or older. Confirmation students bond together with each other and with their adult mentors throughout the 9-month program. Participants study the history of the church, the faith journey, other faiths and religions, their individual covenant relation with the church, and a better understanding of the role they play as a disciple of Christ if they choose confirmation.

The youth participate in numerous service projects throughout the year:

Seed Collection at Pheasant Branch Conservancy
Food Pantry support
Heartland Farm Sanctuary support
Preparing Rice Meal Packs for Midwest Missions

Safe Sanctuary

We strive to create a safe and healthy environment for all children and adults. Children and Youth program events are always staffed by two adults who have completed background checks. This policy lays out appropriate procedures for church staff and volunteers working with children and youth.
