Capital Campaign

We are embarking on a bold and hopeful effort: a campaign to raise $550,000 to renew, repair, and re‑energize our building for the next generation of ministry.

Every day, Bethany United Methodist Church opens its doors to people seeking connection, compassion, and a place to belong. Neighbors gather to vote in our fellowship hall. Community groups rehearse, study, and support one another in our shared spaces. Children learn and grow in our classrooms. Worshippers come to be renewed, encouraged, and sent forth to serve.

Our building is more than brick and mortar, it is an instrument of ministry. It is a place where faith is nurtured, hospitality is practiced, relationships are built, and God’s love becomes visible. Today we are called to care for this sacred space so it can continue to care for others.

This is our moment to invest in the future God is shaping through Bethany.

  • Bethany’s ministries touch lives across generations.

  • Many of our building’s core systems are reaching the end of their lifespan. Delaying repairs risks higher costs, potential failures, and barriers to accessibility and ministry. At the same time, we have opportunities to improve accessibility, hospitality, and sustainability.

These improvements are not cosmetic luxuries. They are essential investments in safety, accessibility, sustainability, and hospitality.

  • This campaign is grounded in four core convictions:

    • Our building is a tool for ministry.

    • Accessibility and hospitality are central to who we are.

    • Our building should reflect the warmth and vitality of our congregation.

    • Stewardship is an act of gratitude.

Learn more about these values here.

  • We are inviting every household to prayerfully consider making a three‑year giving estimate to support this campaign.  Every gift - large or small - is an expression of faith and hope. Together, we can reach this goal.

Bethany UMC has always been a church that rises to meet the moment. Today, we are called to ensure that our building remains a place of welcome, worship, learning, and service for decades to come.

This is more than a fundraising effort. It is an act of faith. It is a statement of hope. It is a commitment to our vision that all will feel, know, and share God’s love. Let’s do this!
